of course, tantie, and i do completely agree with you in that regard. but as a cake decoration, i still prefer fondant. mmm… fondant.
i think it sounds cool, too, because it smacks of the x-files: fight the future! mmm… x-files.

yeah, no joke, nugget daddy! nothing against fondant in and of itself, bits. in this case “fondant” metaphorically represents wedding industry “standards” and suggests readers break from the usual traditions. that and it sounded cool.
