i’m a slave for you. no, really. i think about you day and night. bloggity this, bloggity that, blog, blog, blog. i know i’ve been a little distant the past week, but i think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with what excitement i have for you tonight!
as i mentioned on friday, jenny came for a visit. she also shaved my head. surprise!
there’s a video, too, but we’ll have to wait for jen to send it to me. it is sure to delight one and all!
i’ve been out and about sans hair and all went well. well, i mean, jeez, how else did you think it would go? no small children ran in fear, the elderly have taken a keen interest in me and the teens are holding strong, remaining totally self-absorbed and obnoxious as ever.
nugget’s tantie is here until tuesday and then her grandmamie will be back. i have chemo dose #4 this thursday. i can’t believe it’s almost time for that again! the first week in august i’ll be getting pet and ct scans to see just how much cancer ass the chemo’s kicked already.

i promise that package is going in the mail this week. i’ve crammed it full of girl clothes, too. well, at least with what i could find in the apartment, since everything else is in storage.

nugget was concerned during the shave, but doesn’t care now. she does like to rub my head though.
no tan line. my scalp was just a whiter shade of pale. my chemo sun sensitivity has already taken care of that, so now i’m pretty evenly colored.

OH! Forgot to tell you – Gena latched in labor and delivery. She’s a chewer so I rely a bit on the pump, but my production is increasing and her chewing is slowly stopping. Proud of kitty?

Hey there! I came across your blog accidently while doing some research and I am so interested to email you directly. Just to explain why… I am also going through chemo for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. My fourth treatment is this Thursday (which is what I gather your schedule is too!). I have a 20 month old that I had to wean from breastfeeding because of the diagnosis. It would be great to touch base because it is so hard to come across someone that is REALLY in your position (same cancer, toddler, woman, breastfeeding…).
